Markéta Othová is a Czech visual artist who has been engaged in conceptual photography since the 1990s. Her black-and-white large-format images capture everyday motifs and banalities, challenging the boundaries of the photographic medium. Othová often works with installation, using photography as a means to create new meanings. In 2002, she was awarded the Jindřich Chalupecký Prize.
